Certainly, most of the ISPs I have forwarded this kind of sh*t to have been very helpful. As far as I'm aware, this *is* illegal in the US, where most of this stuff comes from. Maybe one of you can track down the IRS mail address and we can have our revenge... :-) I had a disturbing chat with the postmaster@noaa.gov lately. Someone sent a PowerBuilder or something job ad here. As is my wont, I pointed out that there were more appropriate groups out there. He then replied that I should consider kissing his *ss. I then forwarded the whole catastrophe to the postmaster who said it wasn't his problem and they have no-one to manage netiquette violations in the whole 1000+ strong organisation. This raises quite a frightening thought in my mind - if sites don't regulate themselves, won't that encourage lawmakers to revisit this whole internet regulation business?
