How to check current database in SQL

I have a number of triggers defined on various events that, when fired, execute procedures resulting in a SYSTEM call (yes, I know it's not very efficient etc etc ...). My problem is that the script executed by the system call needs to know the name of the current database, and just to make this posting worthwhile I'm running OnLine 5.01 ! I appreciated fully that at OnLine 7.xx this is achievable but has anybody out there got any clues as to how I can detect the current database (using system tables?) at this version ?
