Platform : Solaris 2.6 INFORMIX IDS/UD Version 9.14 UC6-1 INFORMIX LIBASF LIBRARY Version 7.24.UC8 INFORMIX-Connect Version 2.20.UC1 INFORMIX EMBEDDED SQL for C Version 7.24.UC8 INFORMIX LIBGEN LIBRARY Version 7.24.UC8 INFORMIX-Universal Server Version 9.14.UC6 INFORMIX LIBOS LIBRARY Version 7.24.UC8 INFORMIX LIBSQL LIBRARY Version 7.24.UC8 THREADLIB environment var = POSIX When we compile with the esql -thread option we get a esql: When using -thread, the THREADLIB environment variable must be set to a supported thread library. Currently supporting: DCE, POSIX(Solaris 2.5 and higher only) and SOL (Solaris Kernel Threads) Does ESQL/C version 7.24 support POSIX thread library. The esql command says so. We have a set of applications, which are using POSIX threads and want to connect to the database using mulitple threads Thx in advance Chris
