I hope these help you. The script I have is named "lst_extent.sh", surely these script is in the IIUG library. 1) DON'T post MIME! 2) When responding to a BIG message, SNIP IT!!!!!!!! 3) extents can be fairly roughly estimated by determining the rowsize of the table, the initial number of rows expected and the expected growth rate. Allow for a couple of years growth so that by that time new disk technology has come along allowing cheaper disk. Malc
