PDQ not used ?

Hello everybody, here's our Informix newbie again :) I'm just new in the company and nobody is a real informix specialist in our IT-team, so I try to pull it to me. I know that I should follow a course but we have no time for that cause the new server need to be live in 3 weeks. So I'll take that course after it. Now I've read the performance guide. I've been playing around with the onconfig. Everything goes fine ... the system has already boosted since the initial setup. Right now, I lost my pdq :( If I do update statistics or run some queries, I don't see any active query anymore in my onstat -g mgm. In the beginning of configuration, I saw sometimes active queries overthere. As I read, I suppose that the pdq needs to help when running update statistics. Or do I get the definition wrong ? Can anyone help me out ? I set max_pdq_priority to 100. I also set pdqpriority 100 before running the update stats. I'm running on W2k3. With 4 HT processors and 2 gig of ram Thanks a lot, Bjorn
