Performance profiling a UDR in Java

I've developed a Java UDR that I need to increase performance on quite a bit. Can anyone suggest a profiler (preferably free, maybe even something that snaps into Eclipse) that will allow me to see what's taking so long? Does the krakatoa jre allow standard socket connections for debugging/profiling? I saw a one-line description in the J/Foundation PDF that mentioned jdb, but no real information about a profiler. I tried turning on the JVP.monitor.port:10000 setting in the jvprops file, but wasn't able to attach any of my standard profilers. Any assistance, suggestions or pointers on attaching a profiler to an Informix UDR written in Java would be appreciated! :-) Thanks in advance, Bret
