Sco HADR and Account replication

I have had very poor luck finding a good sco newsgroup and was hoping maybe someone here could help me as they always do with my informix questions. We are runnin HADR between two sco boxes and are looking for an easy way to synchronize the account login informiation. On our Sun servers I use RDIST to take care of this, but it was told to me that sco does not like it when you edit the /etc/passwd amn /etc/shadow files manually.
