We're talking about TPC-C benchmarks being done using DB2 rather than IDS and of course questioning why IBM released a Sybase benchmark. By your logic, IBM approached Sybase and not the other way around. My logic allows for either party to lead the dance. And of course, the absence of TPC-E benchmarks. So what is up with that? Didn't IDS cut the grade? Somehow I don't think that's the reason. But hey! What do I know? Maybe I'm wrong about IDS and my faith is misplaced? -G
