Using DB-Access or ISQL, you're stuck.
Using ESQL/C or I4GL or other programming tool, you use a host
variable to contain the data, and write the INSERT statement with
a placeholder (a question mark) in place of a literal, and then
supply the host variable in the USING list when you execute the
statement.
Or you can use LOAD to insert values.
