This is not exactly true or easy. Peoplesoft uses both Cobol and sqr's. You can set pdqpriority within the sqr without much difficulty. However, it is not the case with the Cobol. To be honest, I don't know how you would do it with the Cobol. Generally, I have used pdqpriority at the instance level with peoplesoft. We had some success with a low setting at 2 or 5. However, we were on 7.14 informix and ran into a bug, so we had to turn pdqpriority off at the instance level.
