I went tried to run dbexport last night on the following config:
Windows NT4.0
1Gb RAM
P3 CPU
30Gb HDD
Informix 7.31
Logged into Windows as Informix (machine always is) and ran the dbexport
command with no switches, and the db name and the destination and got the
following error:
"Could not initialize the security subsytem. Please ensure that this account
has the necessary privileges"
This system has always run logged in as the Informix user, so I don't know
what to try
Any ideas?
Thanks

Red Hat, SUSE or Sol10 :-))

Ok let me rephrase that, how can I sort this problem without changing OS?
Surely dbexport will run on NT4 if Informix will
