Console Colors

A few months ago I upgraded to RDS 4.00 and a new version of Fourgen. When I did, I found I no longer could use the ATTRIBUTE to change colors. After examining the termcap, I believe I'm running in Monochrome mode. Under the $INFORMIXDIR/etc I found a termcap, which I extracted the "ansi" term out of. The colors changed; however, they were in low-intensity. I was trying to force the termcap to recognize high-intensity by changing the numbers following the %t operation, but had no luck. I found that whenever I chose a color not in the listing of the 8 colors, I'd get grey. Is there a way to "force" high-intensity without modifying the programs? -trm
