IIUG2015 - Start thinking about it.

Hey Everybody, It seems like IIUG2014 just ended, but the Board and the CPC have already kicked off the early planning stages for the 2015 IIUG Informix conference which will be held in TBD. Ok, so we don't know WHERE the conference will be held next year, but we do have a good idea WHEN the conference will take place. We are currently targeting late April as usual, but nothing is final until a contract is signed with a hotel. We will most likely open the Call for Presentations in November, but it is not too early to start thinking about presenting at IIUG2015. As usual, all User Speakers will be given a conference pass, but if a conference pass doesn't do it for you maybe we can offer you something else in exchange for sharing your knowledge with the Informix community. Last year we offered the option to receive a conference pass or a tablet for doing 1 session and admission to the Thursday Tutorials if you presented on a second topic. We would like to do something similar this year, but want to hear your ideas on an alternative to the conference pass. We would also like to hear about topics you want to see presented at the conference next year. This will really help us ensure the conference contains the content you want. There were a lot of great suggestions in the 2014 Conference Surveys and we will try our best to find speakers for these topics. If you want to present, but don't know what to speak about let me know and we can make suggestions! Please send your suggestions or any other questions you may have to andrew@iiug.org and I will share them with the team. Thanks and I hope to see you in sunny or breezy or sandy or chilly [city name] in 2015, Andrew
