Sorry I couldn't help you there. Do You have any idea what is the hidden meaning behind distributing "dummy" files? >We are not using Informix 4GL to develop our aps. I-Net 4.1 (16 bit) and I-Net 5.01 or I-Connect (32 bit) can work simultaneously on one client if You can use FTP Software OnNet for TCP/IP connectivity (winsock.dll). Also, the entry point of 16 bit (ESQL/C 4.1 and 5.01) client apps is different from 32 bit (ESQL/C 7.x) into SQL communication chain is different, so I believe it can be done without switching, _if_ you are using native Informix access, and not ODBC. 4GL for windows ESQL/c4.1 ESQL/c5.01 | | | FGLSQL.DLL --> LDLLSQLW.DLL -->ISQLI501.DLL--> (Or fglsqlw.dll) ESQL/C 7.X | -->ISQLI720.DLL--> --->WINETMAN.DLL-->INETIPX.DLL-->Novell driver, or -->INETWSOK.DLL-->WINSOK.DLL, or, -->inetwpip.dll-->sqlexec.exe >I heard from a consultant yesterday that they had a version of Inet made >especially for Windoze 95. I don't think it's called Inet any more, >something like I-connect. Maybe look into that. Yes, I-Connect (I-net 7.x) is 32 bit, but I'm not sure that this is made especially for 95. It can work on NT also, and last version of 5.x was 32 bit also, but especially made for NT. >Sorry I couldn't be much help.
