Hi,
don't see any difference between the statements. But I guess you have
different environments. Have a look on environment variable DBMONEY. I
assume in the first case it is not set ore set to ".". In the second case it
is set to ",".

SORRY there was a mistake in my posting.
The seccont statement (without error) must be
BUT
UPDATE fyar2sta Set BEWPRS=73 Where Sa=0 and Artikel ='00010381-0100 ';
1 row(s) updated
( the different is BEWPRS=73 in statement without error an
BEWPRS=73,63 with error)
I didnt changed any environment variable between the statements.
