Re: IIUG-IDS-9-4-UC2-linux Problems

I've built, installed and wrung-out these glibc packages for i686 (replacing the same compiled for i486): glibc-2.3.4-i686-1 glibc-i18n-2.3.4-noarch-1 glibc-profile-2.3.4-i686-1 glibc-solibs-2.3.4-i686-1 glibc-zoneinfo-2.3.4-noarch-1 I've completely removed and reinstalled IIUG-IDS-9-4-UC2-linux, edited sqlhosts and onconfig, and, when I execute oninit -v I get Checking group membership to determine server run modesucceeded Reading configuration file '/opt/informix/etc/onconfig'...succeeded Creating /INFORMIXTMP/.infxdirs ... succeeded Creating infos file "/opt/informix/etc/.infos.fubar_a" ... "/opt/informix/etc/.conf.fubar_a" ... succeeded Writing to infos file ... succeeded Checking config parameters...succeeded Allocating and attaching to shared memory...succeeded Creating resident pool 3384 kbytes...succeeded Creating buffer pool 40002 kbytes...succeeded Initializing rhead structure...succeeded Initializing ASF ...oninit: Fatal error in initializing ASF with 'ASF_INIT_DATA' flags; asfcode = '25507'. FAILED And I have absolutely no idea what to do about that. I also cannot find where ESQL/C got installed -- did I miss something? I'm sorry to attach both sqlhosts and onconfig, but maybe I missed something and some kind soul can point out where I'm being stupid. Thank you.
