Informix 9.4 + UTF8 (4GL 7.2) / Problem known ?

I think of using UTF-8 with Informix 9.4. + 4GL (7.2) Does anyone have experience, if this works fine or does I have to take care of anything special? I want to use: - Create database with UTF8-Coding - Set CLIENT_LOCALE=de_de.utf8 (thomething like this) - use putty with UTF8-presentation.
