There were some versions where the load statement would not accept TAB as a delimiter, no matter how you set DBDELIMITER. I had this problem with isql 4.10.UC1; I was told when this came up (four years ago!!!) that it was fixed in 4.10.UD2 (and presumably later versions as well). If you get error code 10099 when you set DBDELIMITER to TAB, then this is probably what you're seeing. Reportedly it's bug # 11743. Hope this helps, -- Harry Bochner bochner@das.harvard.edu
