Art, The pentamation app may have its own database and user permissions as part of the application. So unless we know more, we can't help. Informix uses the OS for user validation. Art Art S. I am a systems admin and am supporting SunGuard Pentamation (Finance and Community Plus modules). The Pentamation server is running on SCO UNIX v.3.2 5.0.7 i386. I know that to reset a user's password, one has to change the user's password both at the OS level (using passwd command) and at the Pentamation Application's database level. With this in mind, which UNIX command would I use to change the user password at the Pentamation Application's database level? I also know that there is a UNIX command for Pentamation (on the server side) that pulls up a menu to make these changes for the user. Anyone with information to share with me to help me would be very greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. _______________________________________________ Informix-list mailing list Informix-list@iiug.org http://www.iiug.org/mailman/listinfo/informix-list _________________________________________________________________ Rediscover Hotmail®: Get e-mail storage that grows with you. http://windowslive.com/RediscoverHotmail?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_HM_Rediscover_Storage1_042009
