Informix on Linux...

Is anyone running a non-Linux version of IDS on Linux? The Linux Edition Suite (LES) leaves out some key functionality, and I don't know if it's because it is just an experiment for Informix or if these features (IECC accessibility, ON-Bar, etc.) are truly the result of limitations on Linux. Does it work for anybody? And if you are using it, do some of the features that aren't included in LES work for it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. -CZ

The features that were left out were dropped for Linux either because they depend on third party software which was not yet available for Linux (the OnBar IM is actually Legato Networker Lite which is only recently up on Linux) or were deemed not needed on the platform. Mostly the former. Art S. Kagel
