It'll generate } a syntax error. What else ? } If memory serves me, Informix relaxed it hold on reserved words with the release of the 4.10 (or whatever ver.) products. You can CREATE a table with a column called "count" because "count" has no meaning to CREATE TABLE, however, when you try to SELECT that column, you'll get some kind of error because "count" means something very special to the SELECT statement.
