Those variables that really are in environment (i.e. you can see them through control panel, or those that Informix puts in 'setenv.cmd' for use by command-line utilities) are accessible using 'getenv' C function, (or, presumably, through third argument to 'main' procedure). I am not sure whether Setnet communicates variable values using some other mechanism, too.
