Yep. I had this problem. I tried to drop the table, but that didn't help. In the end I resorted to exporting all the data, exporting the schema using DBSchema, dropping and rebuilding the database. The problem was caused by the index still referencing an sbspace that was dropped (doh!). Check with Informix tech support if you can. Also, upgrade to the latest version of IUS (we have 9.14.UC3) and Excalibur (1.10.UC2) Regards, Gareth -- coming soon... SPONG
