Database was online but ontape -c was not running. All logs were full.
I brought the database down, and the restarted, its now stuck in
recovery mode and cant continue even though ontape -c has been
restarted. I presume the logs are still full.
What should I do????
Thanks

The problem is that there is not even room in the logs to record the fact
the the fast recovery has completed so that is hanging. You can try to
perform an ontape -a to see if there is room for a "logs backed up" record
in the last log. If that does not work you will have to call tech support for a
dial-in so that they can truncate the last log making some room for
these house keeping records. In this case you will likely lose a few
transactions if their commit records are among the records truncated. If
your luck holds only uncommitted transactions will be at the end of the
last log anyway and nothing will be lost that should not be lost.
