Re: text editors for 4GL, Informix SQL ?

One suggestion... Do a search on SEDT. It has been ported to DOS, UNIX, etc. and gives the EDT (very similiar to SPF, etc., but it came from VMS). Its author did a great job -- recall seeing it on gatekeeper.dec.com (sedt). I either use VI or MegaEdit (under eval). I just used the latter and find it useful because it is aware under Windows about having to translated UNIX textfiles into DOS textfiles (removes/leaves Ctrl-M).
