creating table using smartblob - error 606

Hi, You are trying to put a blob datatype into a smartblob space. Either change your data type to 'blob' (a smart blob data type) or change your 'IN' clause to reference 'blobspace' instead of 'smartblob'. BYTE type columns are not smart blobs they are simple blobs. BLOB and CLOB types are smart blobs. The full_image column must be placed into a BLOBSPACE like your 'blobspace' or 'vlb_blobs' blobspaces or change the type of the column to BLOB. Art Art S. I need to remove the smartblob space that I created because I created incorrectly. There is no data in the smartblob space but getting message about metadata. I'm using the following onspaces command to delete (unsuccessfully): [informix@rmsdev]/home/informix $ onspaces -d smartblob -o 0 -p /dev/vgln/raw_sbs_pdf WARNING: Dropping a chunk. Do you really want to continue? (y/n)y Chunk not dropped. Smart Large Objects: Metadata area in the chunk contains data. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I found the command to delete the sbspace. onspaces -d smartblob -f
