alternatives of backup media

Hi every body, I've a question on backup media alternatives,now I use EXABYTE EXB-8700,but have many problems with it.For example some of them are out of use because of low sensitivity,or I've many damaged tapes which can not be read by my tape drive or it can not write on them. any help would be greatly appreciated --Babak

We are using DLT IV tapes for over 1 year. 20 circulating tapes, daily "ontape -s -L 0", 28GB of chunks.
