Transaction log while dbimporting

I am NEW to this group, so bear with me. I need some help in the following. Thankx in advance. I am using "dbexport" and "dbimport" utilities of Informix 4.00. When I creat a new database through "dbimport", is it possible to set the transaction log. ( e.g. to unbuffered logging), without going through the "tbmonitor" menu. ( May be through esql/c).
