ODBC on UNIX?

I understand Informix is going to offer some middleware that will allow apps developed in 4GL/ESQL/etc... to access non-Informix databases. Does anyone have any details of this? I have a 4GL program running on UNIX and would like to be able to access data through ODBC that is in a Microsoft Access database. Would have to run the ODBC on UNIX probably.
