I think, that if your database is set to ANSI compliant mode
you should be able to use the same tablename for different users.
The tablename in ANSI compliant mode must be given as USER.TABNAME,
so you can have to different tables named ROGER.MYTABLE and
MARK.MYTABLE
You can change the database to ANSI with ontape command.
REMEMBER, you cannot change an ANSI compliant database to non ANSI.
Another solution might be to use private synonyms. Private synonyms
use the syntax USER.SYNONYM. Private synonyms can be used (also) in
non ANSI databases. Used with views you can get very high flexiblility.
