Upgrading Informix

I am trying to show our management the benefits of upgrading our informix versions and would like to know the benfits of the following upgrade. We currently are useing IDS 7.31.UD4 on AIX 4.3 as well as I-4GL 7.20.UE2 on the same platform. I would like to upgrade to IDS 9.4 on AIX 5.2 as well as I-4GL 7.31. I need to know all of the benefits of this upgrade, could anyone here please help. Thanks.

A partial list: 1. Informix-4GL 7.3x has substantial benefits over Informix-4GL 7.2x, for example the EXECUTE INTO capability which has the potential of providing substantial performance benefits in cases where a cursor was used for singleton selects in 7.2x applications... 2. AIX 4.3 is ending its support life on 12/31/2003 according to IBM. 3.
