RE: Free IDS Download

Way to go JGP. Like politics in America, let's stop muttering about what is wrong and work on what is right. Looking at the wrong stuff is ok, but also when bringing up something that you think is wrong, perhaps try to help the situation by offering some thoughts on fixing it.... turn what you think is a problem into an opportunity. Perhaps not always and only efforts by IBM can bring change... "grassroots" efforts can make a difference. If IIUG is at its core and supporters full of negativity.... well, that just doesn't encourage anybody to do anything except walk away and leave us muddling in our misery. Not to say we should walk around "pie in the sky" and ignore troubles, we have a lot of work to do.... but living in gloom & doom is not helping. And no, I'm not running for board. And yes, by the end of next year, I may be a DB2 admin (SAP)...... but informix is still the best and deserves its strong comeback. And yes, I took my happy pill this morning :) woooo hoooo!
