Stored Proced. in View?

SCO Unix 3.2.4. Informix Online V. 5.03 UC2 Is there any problem with creating a view with one of the columns being a Stored Procedure. e.g. select ref_no, sp_time(ref_no) time_taken from table. This select statement works fine, but when you try to create a view the thing moans about 'view column for aggregate or expression must be explicitly named.'
