What's a Natural Consultant ?? Anyone know ?? Do they write programs using 'Holistic' techniques ?? Do they carry around with them herbs and natural plant extracts. ? Are they fed using only food grown organically ? When was the last time anyone ever needed an aromatherapist during the development of a particularly nasty program ?? -----Original Message----- From: Adabas Natural [mailto:adabas@hotmail.com] Sent: Friday, September 17, 1999 2:48 PM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Adabas Natural Consultants We have two Adabas Natural Consultants available to work on subcontract basis. Well, you make fun, but .... The DBMS (not RDBMS) Adabas, and its associated programming language, Natural, are pretty damn good. Adabas is not a relational database; it permits repeating fields and groups, so it's not "Approved" by the Relational Police. But it delivers first-rate performance and knocks most RDBMs into a cocked hat. However, it's marketing department is crap, and makes Informix's look top class. Therefore it doesn't sell. As The Clown says "The one with the smartest marketing department wins".
