Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hi.
How can I retrieve the current database name with IDS? I could do it using the
next SQL statement, but I think there's a more direct way to do it.
SELECT odb_dbname FROM sysmaster@my_server:sysopendb
WHERE odb_sessionid =
(SELECT dbinfo('sessionid') FROM systables WHERE tabid = 1)
AND odb_dbname <> 'sysmaster'
I need this to generate (UNLOAD) an UNIX batch script that needs the current
database name.
Maybe this is a silly question, but I couldn't find another answer.
