tblspace overflow

I have an Informix database (4.1) with over 300 tables. I used dbexport to unload the database. I then used dbimport to create a copy of my database in another dbspace, but I received an error message: 311 - Cannot open system catalog (sysviews) 141 - {ISAM error: tblspace table overflow My tblspace is set to 200 and coincidentally the error occured after loading about 200 tables. It seemed obvious to increase the tblspace value. The only way I know to increase this value is to initialize the database and increase the shared memory parameters -- this is going to clear {m{y root dbspace (not quite a friendly thing)!
