Color attributes & xterminal

To the xterminal expert ! 6-Aug-93 I am playing with a Samsung SGS-17C terminal and my problem is, that I can not get any colors (attributes) turned on in Informix screens. The blink function is also a problem. Reverse and underline i working OK. I have been working with the ZA option in my termcap file, but without the wanted result. Is it possible to use the color attributes with this terminal ? If yes, then how ?
