I've made some progress in the meantime: I've used testconn20 utility. I've got succesfull connection. Unfortunatelly I've got -23104 error. It seems that non-default locale doesn't work (we are using pl_pl.8859-2 on a production, and pl_pl.CP1250 on my developer's instance on windows). DB2 drivers do not allow to specify DB_LOCALE. Also GL_USEGLU=1 doesn't help (see description to -23104). With ODBC now I have a message that conversion from 1250 to "UNKNOWN" is not possible.
