Yes FourGen code does run on version 7 and FourGen in fact recommend it. I am currently helping one of my customers do just that migration. There are one or two things you have to be careful of. One, if you choose to fragment your tables across disks you should add the serial column rowid. Of course this applies to all Informix applications which use rowid's however FourGen in particular makes extensive use of rowid's. Another thing to be aware of is - if you have DBSPACETEMP set to multiple temp dbspaces you will receive an error when the code attempts to select the rowid's from a temporary table. This is because Informix actually fragments the temporary table when you have multiple temp dbspaces. FourGen code makes extensive use of temp tables. If you use the "User Control Libraries" you need to obtain the source from FourGen so that the modules can be recompiled under Informix 6.x Also you should try and obtain a later version of the FourGen tools so that you do not have to use the relay module.
