Problem with DataDirector for Java

Hi, I had a problem with Data Director for Java ("error unmarshaling return header" running an applet) and I solved it upgrading Jdk from 1.1.3 to 1.1.5. Now my problem is that I can't run the applet from a client. Which browser can I use? Is it a problem with the browser? I'm using Windows NT 4.0 with Microsoft Internet Information Server 3.0 (service pack 3), Jdk 1.1.5, Data Director for Java 1.1. Any help will be appreciated.
