Trouble with Private Installation of IUS

My intension is to debug a datablade by attaching to the virtual class process with a debugger. Therefore I made a private installation by using the installius utility. After setting the environment variables, and changing the onconfig and the sqlhost files I created some dbspaces (directory private_installation_dir/data/). Problems: 1) dbaccess couldn't find ANY dbspaces when I tried to create a new database within the menu facilities. But when I sent the SQL statement "create database a_db in a_space;", the new database was successfully created. 2) Within this created database a_db I couldn't register any blade (which I copied to private_installation_dir/extend). Error message of blademgr: >blademgr: ERROR: Prep failed. >blademgr: ERROR: Couldn't 'prep' database. Platform: Solaris 2.6 IUS Version: 9.13 Did anybody come across similar problems?
