Onarchive/7.20/Solaris

Help! I am trying to implement continuous logical log backup to either an exabyte or a dlt drive, using Onarchive. The problem is that a) neither device will 'stream' - it takes an age to write one 10Meg logical log, and b) Onarchive insists on handling each logical log as a separate request (contrary to what the manual says). This results in the tape being rewound for each log, then onarchive reads through the tape to find where to write the next one, the upshot being that each log takes maybe 10 seconds longer to write out to tape than the previous one. This means that we are filling logs faster than continuous backup can clear them. Doing an automatic backup as and when required works fine, whenever you include the word 'continuous' in the request it seems to totally change the way onarchive accesses the tape drives! Ontape works exactly the way one would expect, and the way I want it to, but we really want to use Onarchive (mainly because it's more versatile and I can automate it easier). Any ideas?
