There are several users out there who have had success with this arrangement. Check out the linux-informix@iiug.org mailing list which started recently to try to make a case to Informix for a native Linux port. Any corporate users using or looking to use Informix Products on Linux should attend at least long enough to say "Me too! we need this because ... and we would buy such and such..". Art S. Kagel
