Only if your database was created with logging and you have ALL of the log file archives going back to the creation of the row in question. Then, yes, using rlog you can trace the evolution of the row. HOWEVER, the tediousness of the process aside, you will not find out who made each modification nor when each mod was made, only what was changed and what the values were prior to the change. This is normally of limited use and is not a substitute for an audit trail which you can implement using an audit table and a set of triggers. Art S. Kagel
