Hello, we have to change our OS from Solaris to Linux RedHat. Which is the best way to do it, prefered with a limited downtime. We have two Solaris Systems with a Shared Disk. Is it possible to use a third RedHar Node, so we can make this system later to the primary DB Server? thx from berlin
Which IDS Version are you? You should user ER. Depends on the table you can plan to user HPL or external table to download and load the data before using the ER. Or using the command "cdr sync" to synchronize the whole table. Celso Cabral Coimbra Administrador de Banco de Dados ClearTech Ltda "Trust at the heart of Communications" Tel. You can bring the Linux server online as an ER replicant then decomission the Solaris servers later. Art Art S.
