Informix support Microsoft COM?

In a PCWeek article, the president of Informix mentioned 'COM' as one of the things Informix does. Predictably this was positioned as a "avoid the MS-vs-Oracle war, bla, bla..." The article left me wondering what sort of COM support is available for Informix? Do you know? On their web site I couldn't find anything that talks about COM.
