Take it easy Mike. Direct conversion from 1.1/2.1 of 4GL sure can be the best option. Particularly if the application is reasonably cleanly written and the end users don't real want new things or can't afford it. This is actually part of the beauty of Informix 4GL. You can still run the applications now 10 or 15 years after they where originally written.
