I'm not sitting in front of my manuals but i believe its' SQLCA.SQLERRD[2] for 4GL, and [1] for ESQL/C. Either that or 6/5 The difference is 'C' indexes from 0, 4GL from 1 Terry Hillick VP CSCS, Inc. (407)365-6118
