Ontape to backup

Hello all, We recently upgraded our Informix server runnning on HP-UX10.20 to 7.3UC8. Since this upgrade our backup operator has been having problems running a level 1 backup using the syntax "ontape -s -L 1". We get the following error message: "Archive failed - function read archive backup failed code -1 errno 2" This gives me the impression that somewhere permissions have been modified when doing the upgrade. The weird thing is that the user can run a level 0 backup without any problem. Does anyone know what could be causing this error?
