I'm sure it helps to a degree, just as long as you aren't so "glued" to the methods that you can't see the need for the new OO approach. : > : >2) Does each memeber of the development team need to have strong C++ : >skills? : No, I don't find C++ knowledge being required at all. I started out with no knowledge of those, and still is. Unless : I' the odd one out, I don't feel a compelling need to know those things. On the : other hand, for long term onvestment, it probably pays to have such skills, and : start using them in the design of classes. So, no comment. Maybe, but the 4GL programmers will still have to learn to think events and non-linear coding - which is a real mind-shift as far as I can tell. : =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= : Calvin Ng email: <calvinng@brel.com.sg> : ------------------------------------------------------------------------- : [DISCLAIMER] Read at your own risks.
